Susan Bankoski Chunyk earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Communication Disorders and a Master of Arts Degree in Audiology from the University of Connecticut. She was awarded a Doctorate in Audiology (Au.D.) from A.T. Still University at the Arizona School of Health Sciences. Dr. Chunyk completed her Clinical Fellowship Year in Audiology at the New York School for the Deaf in White Plains, New York, before entering private practice at Hampden Hearing Center. Dr. Chunyk is a fellow of the American Academy of Audiology and the Academy of Doctors of Audiology. She is a member of the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association, and the Massachusetts Speech-Language-Hearing Association.

 
She is licensed as an Audiologist by the Commonwealth of Massachusetts and the state of Connecticut and certified by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association. Dr. Chunyk is fluent in American Sign Language.
